Friends of the Green Book

The City of St. Pete supported our work through a South St Pete CRA grant which included professional development to improve our efficiency. 

Gobioff Foundation says that Green Book of Tampa Bay goes well beyond being simply a directory. It is a resource for uplifting, highlighting, and building diverse communities, all of which we at the Gobioff Foundation admire and commend.

Marco Watson thinks art in our community is such a tool we’ve historically always used as an expression of experience. We’ve used it to share our pain, tell our past, and guide our future while exploring our own individuality within all of it.

Nyya Rogers is our board treasurer who donates countless hours to Green Book! With 15 years of experience in accounting and operations, Nyya brings a practical, solutions-focused mindset to nonprofit finance. She helps manage budgets, cash flow, and financial reporting.

Pinellas Community Foundation supported our work through grants. 

Dr. Shawnté James believes Black businesses empower our communities, and she believes the work that Green Book does in connecting these artists to consumers is key to building lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. 

We participated in their Every Hit is a Win with Suncoast contest and received 40% of the votes.

The Van Dykes wanted to help make a difference for hardworking artists.
